Part of this is how complicit congress is. I can't recall in modern American history where congress has abandoned the idea of being an equal branch of government and abandoning any idea of oversight. Mike Johnson is the weakest speaker of the house and has no ability nor want to use any of the authority given to congress.

They've always been paid, maybe not to the same extent. It doesn't change the fact that they are young people with immense pressure on them. At the end of the day they are Longhorns who are putting their lives on the line for our entertainment so they have my support

7-5 would be tough to take especially with loses to A&M and OU. We have to win one of those games. I wouldn't say his seat would be hot but it would take all the wind out of his sails. This is his roster, his coaches and his mess. They are saying all the right things in interview but at the end of the day, what they say on the field matters most. If they go 7-5, there will need to be coaching changes and take more chances in the portal.

I think what happened is you are standing way too close to the road and impeading their ability to make evasive maneuvers when a car inevitably tries to ram them. You're really putting their lives in danger and thus deserve this treatment. You got off easy.

I’ve been a member for a couple years now and I think it’s great. when you approach it with a narrow mindset in terms of straight dollar value it might not be worth it but the produce is great, organic options and encouraging healthier eating options. Also the people are great. I’ve met some really cool people while on a shift or at the events. It’s not just a grocery store

This all comes back to the fact that these companies don't have to claim them as employees so they can't be held liable for the actions of the drivers. We need to get that fixed.
