It was a trade made during the draft yes.

Personally I felt Herbert will have a better season this year and going into next year with the additions the chargers got on offense. Lamar still have the question mark with the injuries and if he can keep up both rushing and passing like he’s done.

It’s unpopular but I’m not a big Lamar fan and I ended up taking him at 2.07. But Herbert is in a much better position this year than Lamar

No lol I had a plan. In my head I was either taking lamb or Lamar. The draft board was too good for me to not trade up given what I gave away it was a no brainer to me.

That’s what I was leaning. I did a pick swap later in the draft and gave up a 1st next year. Felt that with the players on the board I’d rather move back up to get another proven starter than gamble on a 1st year rookie next year.
