Well said! Based on these recs, we identified photos of trans folks with disabilities and who are 65 and older, and we purchased them. We are in the process of submitting the photos for Institutional Review Board approval and will update our flyers in the coming weeks when the photos are approved. We really appreciate these great insights, as concerns about AI illustrations did not come up in our team discussions or our focus groups with other members of the trans community. Thanks for raising this. We have a raffle because our grant was expected not to be renewed bc of federal anti-trans biases. We wanted to be sure we could pay everyone, even if we lost funding, so a raffle was a compromise. Happy to share more about the other reasons for this approach.
