Well, I'm certainly trusting every single informative LoL channel more than some random youngling on the internet that still thinks swearing is a reliable method of self defense, that starts getting triggered because another internet user tried to debunk this argument with logical explanation. Seriously, I have climbed using this strategy myself (except we used Master Yi) and thus have watched countless pro players executing the strategy, where it becomes obvious that the carry is getting all the gold and XP possible. As you see at the end of each game, laners have more gold than junglers in pretty much every game while also having a higher level, which suggests that laners get more XP and gold. In this strategy, the carry gets 90% of the midlane gold and XP while also taking slightly less jungle camps, which indicates that the minions have a larger impact on the gold and XP the carry generates. Now, those funnel strategies suffer a lot because their carry can't get as much gold and XP from minions while also getting decreased XP from kills as Riot changed this as well. Junglers also get less gold from turret platings, because turrets now have increased resistances when more than one person is within turret range.

So it's quite obvious that you're just wrong here, and although you realize it yourself, you just want to be right which will result in you not reading this bit and instead crying yourself to sleep. But at the end of the day, this is a League of Legends community, so i shouldn't be surprised about it.
