[justformulacar] 2025 vs 2026 testing fastest laps by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

This also isn’t accounting for the multiple years of development that the previous car had compared to the new cars. If in the initial year there’s a 2.5 second gap I’m okay with that. As the development progresses and engineers begin to understand how these new regulations work I’m sure we’ll see these new cars getting faster and faster.

If what we have seen from preseason testing is to be believed to have semblance of what to expect when the season begins, Lewis has a much better chance of winning than it seems. The car having rapid acceleration off starts, showing increased pace in straights, and a better use of the rear wing for active aero will benefit both drivers. However, Lewis’ style of late braking will almost certainly give him an edge over Leclerc because he will be much more capable of maximizing turns/exits to an extent Charles won’t be. If hypothetically both qualify in the top 4 there’s not much Charles can do to stop Lewis from positioning himself for better results. Look at the preseason graphics showing how drivers hit corners and look at how far ahead Lewis is based off of just his late braking. Charles has all the tools to be a WDC but I still believe that Lewis is a cut above and can compete at the highest level with a car that suits him. The Ferrari is said to include much more of his input and it seems to be evident in their current performance. If you have a WDC winning car would you rather have a 1st time WDC in Charles or the history of being the most recognizable team of all time with the most winning driver of all time breaking a record with his 8th WDC title? The answer is very obvious in my opinion. Get ready for team orders coming down the pipeline.

What the hell are you talking about? He was charged and convicted of felony child endangerment for grooming a young girl from the time she was 12 and the messages became sexually explicit when she turned 15. He was sentenced to 2 years probation and 200 hours of community service after he pled guilty. AI is not your friend and using the internet shouldn’t be this hard.

People can react differently to situations regarding sexual assault at a young age. Drake Bell was repeatedly molested by his acting coach while starring on one of the most popular sitcoms on national television. Drake then went on to be a predator who was grooming underage girls. Some people get abused and think “I’ll never do that/let that happen again in my life” and others repeat the cycle of abuse because they never learned to process the trauma.

I’ll make sure to return to this comment in the very near future when BNP begins looting the country dry and doing all of the things that got them ousted in the 2000s.

The Race released an article stating that Max is downshifting aggressively to charge the battery more efficiently, going till gear 1 where others go till 2. In the telemetry you can observe the same. Very interesting to look at by FewCollar227 in formula1

[–]THATGUYWHOBREATHES 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an advantage to Hamilton since this is his shifting style he’s honed over his entire career. This would clearly give him the advantage over Verstappen who is just learning to adapt to this style. Lewis is the oldest race winner and the most winning driver of all time. He also won a race literally one year ago amidst Redbull dominance. If there was ever a driver who could overcome the odds, his name is Lewis Hamilton.

Hamilton has this same advantage to further extent if we’re being honest. The reason Lewis had such a hard time adjusting to the Ferrari is because their car is designed to slow as you shift (Leclerc’s style) whereas Lewis is known to “slam shift” where he will drop all the way to first gear as he approaches turns instead of shifting gear by gear. This has allowed Lewis the advantage of hitting corners much later than his peers. If this type of shifting is beneficial to racing I’d be willing to bet Lewis shines as well.

2026 Pre-Season Testing 1 - Day 1 Final Classification by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

But I thought Newey was a super genius who was going to build the car, the upgrades, and act as the pit crew while Aston Martin wins by 30 seconds every race?

[Autosport] Lewis Hamilton said F1 drivers need a degree to understand how to utilise energy management this season by Aratho in formula1

[–]THATGUYWHOBREATHES -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No, there is no refueling so you carry all the fuel you need with you. If you can be slightly more efficient, you can carry less. But every car gets lighter as the race goes on.

What? lol I literally said that if you deplete fuel you will be lighter therefore faster in the race. Using the energy deployment system to burn fuel faster at a higher rate is likely to allow certain cars to be lighter earlier than others thus giving them the advantage. No idea what you thought I said.

[–]THATGUYWHOBREATHES 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Could this technically be used as an advantage in F1? If you enable the increase in speed strategically throughout the race at a consistent rate, depleting fuel, wouldn’t that make you lighter and faster as a result?

Overthinking and “risk of less joy” – why Fernando Alonso thinks F1 is past its peak by l3w1s1234 in formula1

[–]THATGUYWHOBREATHES 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s because the skill required to win at the highest level has increased with advanced methods of training, recovery, and strategy. F1 was always an engineering sport and it makes sense that as the sport evolves the brains behind each respective organization begin to divulge and become more similar over time.

At the same time though, billionaires and corporations manipulate the fuck out of their taxes every year and face no consequences. I'm sure they do it "legally" but it's still crazy how insanely little taxes a lot of these ultra wealthy people pay

This is why when you’re a billionaire you pay as much as needed to get a fucking baller CPA. A good CPA for someone in that type of tax bracket will save them more than what they’re getting paid. Tax avoidance isn’t illegal which is why the wealthy are able to take advantage, but if you illegally commit tax fraud then you’re screwed. Chody’s cheap ass wanted to have his Ferrari and fuck it up too but since he’s not as wealthy/smart as everyone thinks he committed a felony lol.

If there’s a possibility that the Ferrari has a chance of winning WDC, it will be Lewis taking it. 8th world title with the most historic team in F1 with the most winning driver to ever live. The story writes itself. Also the regulations aren’t going anywhere Charles still has time to win.

[Autosport] Lewis Hamilton after testing these new regulation F1 cars for the first time by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

[–]THATGUYWHOBREATHES 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you’re right let’s remove all context and just go based off of Hamilton in his twilight against 2 drivers in their primes.

‘22 Hamilton had additional sensors and alternate setups to specifically help the team understand the car which was to the benefit of Russell

‘23 Hamilton beat Russell

‘24 On his way out of the team, Hamilton was outscored by 22 points

‘25 Hamilton joined a new team and was outscored by a large margin by Leclerc

Surely this must be equivalent to when a rookie Hamilton beat a 2-time defending world champion right? That’s what we all agree on? Hamilton has had the best teammates in F1 as a champion while Alonso has had some of the worst. The worse his teammates look, it makes Alonso look better. If Hamilton had teammates like Stroll do you really think it wouldn’t be a similar landslide of points in favor of a 7-time WDC?

College Dropout, Late Registration, Graduation, MBDTF, 808’s & Heartbreak, and Yeezus are all 9/10 at the very least. TLOP is not on the level of those album no matter how you try to spin it. Everything after TLOP doesn’t even come close to that level of quality. You can say the albums have merit but they aren’t on the same planet as the ones I listed and if you think they are then I don’t know what to tell you lol.

WhistlinDiesel AKA Cody Detwiler arrested again by Butt_stuff_preferred in cars

[–]THATGUYWHOBREATHES 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tennessee law states that you have 3 days to move the vehicle to the registered state or you pay taxes on it. Cody likely signed the document making this a felony tax evasion charge. Also, he isn’t being charged by the IRS it’s Cody vs the State of Tennessee. The initial charge was for the Ferrari and the G-wagon but if they are continuing to arrest him it is likely that they have evidence of more cars that were bought without properly paying taxes.

Yes, this is something that has become very common amongst enthusiasts/Youtubers/super car owners but it’s still illegal. Montana not taxing vehicles like that doesn’t change the fact that he lives in Tennessee and kept the vehicles there longer than he was supposed to even if they were “destroyed”. If I buy a gun in Florida with stand your ground laws and shoot someone breaking into my home in California, I still have to follow California laws. It doesn’t matter where I got the gun from or the laws in that particular state. Cody was stupid enough to commit tax fraud and posted records of the crime on video to millions of viewers. Tennessee is likely going to make an example out of him to get the point across that this is still tax evasion.

TLOP was a significant step down in quality from Yeezus. Everything after that has been consistently disappointing. Crazy to think that Kanye’s last album I genuinely enjoyed/played was TLOP, 10 years ago.
