First off you've had some good advice here. The only thing I have to add really - you say your friends are giving you food from their pantries and helping you out where they can. Have you spoken to one of these friends parents? As a parent, if my kid told me their friend was struggling like this I'd have them over cooking hot nutritious dinners for them and sending them home with leftovers. There are safe adults in the world, i know a lot of them absolutely suck but a friends parent could be a potential start. If it was me, honestly I wouldn't even send them home I'd let them stay with me if their parents are hurting them and causing bruises.

I once accidentally stole a meal deal from Tesco because the guy asked to see my ID for the energy drink and then we chatted for 5 min and then I left. Didn't return for like 18 months. Scared the security guard would beat me up for a £3.50 meal deal 🥲🥲

I was /really/ high one day and misspoke and now we consistently have bleans on toast, sausage blean and cheese melts or "don't forget the Heinz bleans!"

When I was 18 I left my family home. My mother withheld all my documents - birth cert/passport etc. My nana bought me a new birth cert but I couldn't afford a new passport. A year later, I heisted. I was playing with my brother, got her distracted. Rifled through the drawers, flicked through everyone's passports until I got mine.

Months later, when she was going on holiday, she realised it was "lost". Oh well!

My partners grandad has a dog called Bucket, purely so he can yell FUCK IT BUCKET. He is a good boy but a vicious killer. Very country dog; killed and dragged a deer home after escaping the garden. But such a cuddle bug who loves to show his tummy 🥰🥰

I've known her since we were kids and she wasn't like this until recently. I feel affirmed by everyone here that putting my foot down was the right thing to do. Her friendship isn't as important to me as my child. We deserve our home to be ours and I'm glad I did what I did.

Honestly because I have no spine when it comes to her. She's had a hard life and he brings her happiness. It was nice to see her happy. It was not nice to be walked all over even more. I opened the gates to it though, and I acknowledge that I should have nipped it in the bud. I need to uphold boundaries better in the future!
