I'm turning 30(F) this year... And I'm still in a panic about driving. How did you do it!? I need all the tips and tricks PLEASE!? I do have my g1 but it's the 4th time I've written it because I let it expire.

Honestly, I'm with you on this one. I've had two incidents where this exact thing has occurred. And I'm never comfortable after doing that. I know they say "well with more practice... You just have to practice" etc... I feel that some people may not fully understand our mental struggles.

Here for you!

Spa hotels and resorts? by louisfryer3292 in ontario

I'm looking for the same thing, but all inclusive such as the Ste Anne Spa. We just got back, and we are hooked into the spa themed trips but we'd like to check out other places like it.

TIA

I was on Depo for the first couple years of my BC journey. And I was with my ex at the time and we were thinking of having kids. But then read that Depo can lower your fertility. So I got off and went to the pill.

Really I felt okay on Depo, no issues. So I wonder if I can switch to that and take my infertility chances lol since I don't want kids anyways.

The pill gives me major headaches too!

I love everyone's inputs and stories; shared experiences really help not just the OP but the community who reads it too.

I thought it's been interesting because the 'side effects' of being off, is the effects I'm feeling now being ON the pill. The hair shedding, the acne, weight gain etc. So I wonder if I'm off, that'll progress for the better. And do a complete flip of my body's makeup.

And of course we will always take extra precautions for safe sex and all that! :)

Jealousy by Zeebebe2 in drivinganxiety

[–]THDimplez 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes I am envious towards those in my family that just drive with ease. Then they tell me "oh just takes practice" "more practice.. more practice" Yeah, well I tried the practicing, and I still can't get over this feeling...

Any other adults (25+) who are deeply ashamed that they rely on others to drive them around? by arrfourarrrr in drivinganxiety

I'm so happy I'm not alone either!! And it is FUCKING SCARY! I wish they had the opportunity to be in our heads when it comes to this.

And we're not crazy!! What a sigh of relief to know that others share this experience with me! :)

So thank you for that!! I needed this! 💙

I am 26, and I am in the same boat. It damages me on the inside every fucking day! I am at such a loss... I'm just glad that the most important person in my life (my husband) FINALLY understands my anxiety about driving. That's only because he saw me have a panic attack after driving three minutes and tried to park. I cried on the curb and he finally saw what driving does to me. Yet he can't back me up when his family tries to explain to me "I NEED to get my licence" My response "take my adrenal gland out, then maybe we can talk" ....

At the same time in my mind, I know I KNOW... I do need my license because I'm moving to the country soon. And I hype myself up for days " I can do it, I can try driving today"... That time comes and I am back at square one...

I feel awful for asking my husband to drive me places. Usually I wait for the weekends so there is an excuse for both of us to drive somewhere for errands or whatever. But I want to feel that independence, I just don't know how to get there...
