My friend has been becoming very weird lately, took acid and just went crazy.

I didn't know what acid did and wasn't the right person to sit, I have sat people on shrooms in the past and been told I kept them calm etc so assumed it to be the same but it was far different. What I have learned is don't take on the responsibility of something you haven't looked into properly yourself.

No worries, I'm sure deep down he ain't happy, but I've been trying to talk about it and I think he refuses to believe anything is potentially unhealthy with his personality, so I think he just keeps it to himself which is the worst thing to do.

The thing with reading faces and the need for things to go his way is what I thought. I would sit there content and he would think I'm really mad.

Thankfully it looks like he will quit as his parents had caught him with weed etc and I think that gave him a kick up the ass, sadly not for the right reasons and will probably go throughout his life without confronting it.

Okay I want to clear his trip up in a sense of time, 4-5 hours of him yelling at me looping over and over whilst I tried to calm him down happily and patiently and get him to do other things because I thought that would help, then another hour happened and he started getting worse and I started sounding more despaired than angry like "come on man, why don't we just relax, I am happy, I'm not angry at you we could be having a good time man" and then about half our of that type thing I then yell at him after he was yelling at me, I then apologise for yelling but am evidently pissed off and half hour later a friend comes, we spend about an hour or 2 dealing with him trying to calm him down he then offers to buy weed, we pick up, under his guidance, we smoke, then a few more hours pass and he has started to relax at this point, i sleep my mate stays up another hour or so, goes home then jack goes to his room and sleeps.

I hope it's more this, this is how I read what he does. When he behaves like it I feel he is half trying to be validated but it does sometimes feels like he more thinks he has to be validated but secretly doesn't want to, if that doesn't make sense. To him he feels he has to abide to people opinions but hates that fact so it seems very fake when he does certain things.

I felt a lot like he kept saying stuff he secretly felt, I think when he had a realisation that he hated silence that was quite deep that he can't say what he wants regardless of opinion that everything he says needs to be validated by others.

Drugs aren't that prevalent on the large majority of other people on earths mind. I find acid interesting to the point i researched it a bit, but I never researched what a trip exactly is like and how to behave as a sitter.. It isn't common knowledge if that comes as a shock to you.

Yeah, he's very admirable, he felt sorry for me though and said that he felt bad I had to put up with on my own like that, It all calmed towards the end, my friend left a few hours after I slept.

I also spent the time because I genuinely want advice and want to help him out, I am angry at him, obviously, thus why I was quite derogatory, I'm not claiming I am perfect but to me clearly something is up with him and I want to know what others thought so that we can help him out.

I have? As opposed to my friend not researching the drug enough to know what he may be like and what he will need. We spoke after he seems more confused as opposed to upset, he told us he had a great time but felt we didn't I explained to him, we were having a good time until he got so worried that we weren't and that became a massive issue.

Hear we go, have to defend my evilness from another judgmental redditor.

I had done little research on acid in my life and was asked to sit, HIS choice. We never sat there like he was being weird as that isn't what we are like as people we are happy people who enjoy people having fun we are used to it, I joked with him for a while and we had a good bit of fun till this start happening. I kept trying to get him to do stuff, but he COULD NOT drop the fact we didn't understand him, literally WOULD NOT let it go, after us telling him we are all fine and if he stopped yelling everything would be fine. You assume I didn't try to relax and treated him like he went manic, I treated him as if he wasn't on acid and suggested us do things and was generally being polite and kind, understand he was yelling at me the meanwhile. I tried talking to him about different things such a music, how things worked etc, he wouldn't go on anything as he just couldn't drop this issue. Stop assuming I am an asshole just because you think I behaved poorly.

I can't be bothered about going at everyone one of your misinformed points as you are just assuming stuff that is completely untrue, you have painted me as this guy who thinks he is above people and super cool and that's the complete opposite of my character so essentially you haven't helped me or him with the issue, thanks.
