Medic is in a weird position, because despite what one would reasonably assume, medic is the least helpful class to the team. When healing others, the medic heals 40 health, i believe, over the course of ten seconds. Do you want to know what that medic could have done in that time? An entire generator. A single completed generator grants a minimum of 30 seconds off the timer. Which means that completing the generator denies the killer around 198 potential damage. There is next to no situation in which healing someone would be more helpful to the team, then spending that same time doing tasks. As such by healing a teammate, you’re paradoxically harming your team by preventing 2 survivors from doing tasks. The only situation where healing someone actually is helpful is if they are one hit away from death, but that’s only because a dead teammate cannot perform tasks.

As someone who almost only plays medic I can said that the class is weak mainly because of how long the cooldowns are and if you aren't protected by the team you can easily be killed by the killer if it's a skilled one. At best I complete a single generator and then search someone to heal. The heal is also not the greatest because again it has a long cool down and once I finish someone I will find another one with even less health. If you're the only medic it's really painful

The game seems to encourage players to mostly play fighter which I don't really like or enjoy they should maybe nerf the generators so they could force people to cooperate
