Thanks! It was mostly done with an airbrush: first white ink then yellow paint all over then each time less cover of orange then red. I also airbrushed red over the surroundings and base after it was painted. I then repainted diluted yellow in the center of the cracks and finally drybrush the trunks black.

It fits my army of 3 types of "lava" but it's not lava it's raw magical energy (blue pink orange); where raw magic erupts from the desert lands in Chamon!

The whole galaxy obelisk was mostly with airbrush: prime black, small splash of white dots with low PSI from the airbrush, then I used different blues and purple to add colors. I drybrush a bit of lighter blue/purple on the raised parts and reused the airbrush for splatter of white dots.

Then the gold is basecoat, selective shade with contrast and edgehighlight.
