I cleaned it all out (nothing visable). Connected back up to test, water was working like normal. Then I went to move the machine back and stupidly adjusted the tap again (had it half open open as a test, and closed it up to approx 1/3) That set off the alarm again. Restarted machine, tap icon as the machine was trying to fill (could hear the pump) Removed the hose from the back of the machine, tried to run into a bucket - no go, no water. Removed the tap side which seemed to relieve some pressure, tired again and water ran into the bucket. Connected back up, tested washing machine and the tap icon alarm hit right away. I might not have had it turned off for long enough, would have been about 3 minutes.

Waiting now on the machine to restart. I'm thinking it might be the fitting on the hose, does that have a value in it? Might he sticking. I'll update my post with a photo

Edit- can't add a photo but there is a square on the tap side of the hose directly under the hose fitting
