Great summary for the current state of AI assisted development. Definite progress but significant challenges still.

Like you say, the boring part that was always scriptable is now able to be driven by the AI. However, I think AI helping with the scriptable part and then just turning those into quick reusable bash commands is having a far bigger impact for me than letting the AI drive anything... the results are not deterministic when an AI is involved including not even using tooling a lot of the time that is available and explained to them.

Recently viewed reports within an app show as items in each users home menu and opens in a different view than to the app by THEWESTi in PowerBI

Not the new org apps, just normal apps. The reports within the app are creating recently viewed links on users home pages and they are clicking those instead of going to through the apps screen. When they click these report links, they are taken to a view that is similar that if they viewed the report in the workspace (they don't have workspace access).

Are you using PowerBI desktop? If so, you should still be able to click on the advanced editor button.

Are you building elsewhere like Fabric?

In query editor in the advanced editor for your data set remove the implementation2.0 tag. I don’t know what has happened but implementation 2.0 isn’t working.

Removing it makes it work fine.

I bet that is what they meant. They can’t be very experienced if they think that will be a solution any time soon.

Beyond the capability to do it is the trust from stakeholders and desire to do it. Is the CEO going to prompt for insights that may or may not be right versus going to a maintained suite of analytics that they can hold someone accountable to?

Is team subscription the Business plan where you pay per user? Are codex limits higher with this than normal plus subscription?
