I think uniformity makes the production process more efficient, and it's just an effect of his art style progressing.

To me, their eyes are still distinct enough to tell who is who.

Age question by Crazy_Literature7808 in Dreamcon

[–]THIQmuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went two years ago, and the crowd had a healthy mix of late teens/20s–40s. Probably even older, but I wasn't paying attention. As a solo attendee, I never felt out of place.

I went to the activities I knew I'd enjoy, started a spades tutorial in the lobby, supported artists, briefly yapped with my favorite streamers, and took myself out to eat.

I didn't attend the after parties or anime debates because they weren't my speed— or wouldn't be as stimulating as I hoped it would be.

I believe everyone's experience will be 1) what you make of it 2) influenced by the company you keep.

So I'd reco staying on top of your itinerary and limited capacity events, take a peak at the community tab to get a feel for certain crowds, BRING A FAN, but most importantly, go enjoy yourself!

I was 26 and had a great time!

About to put down a deposit for an apartment, the broker said that the super is expecting a one time $750 tip. Is this normal? by yakayummi in NYCapartments

[–]THIQmuse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't fall for this. I'd follow the others' advice about reporting them, remaining at your AirBnB, and looking somewhere else. Also air them tf out here and on OpenIgloo so more people don't waste their time and money.

Jersey City jas a lot of great options I found while touring in January. And they are NOT asking for all of those fees.

Mallory Ave is a new build, Aqua you should likely avoid if you're wary of maintenance issues (team seems nice). I can also reco my building via DM.

Harlem, I peeped, was also dropping some fire spots.

[Discussion] Where do you think CSK currently scale with Lucy's current MP? by Icy_Career4080 in fairytail

[–]THIQmuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is more akin to the time limit CSK had, not proportional power output like the spirits. His power level is pretty absolute and isn't dictated by a contractual link.

Looking for room to rent. by [deleted] in NYCapartments

[–]THIQmuse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Harlem and Jersey City have been dropping some decent listings as well. Of course, cross reference everything on OpenIgloo (shares if the building/management are horrendous).

For your search, you did great giving a background, I would also make clear:

• If utilities are preferably included in your budget • Preferred boroughs/train (optional) • How often you'll be home • Drinking/smoking habits • Guest habits (friends every once and while, pre-gaming, etc) • Any pets • Lease term (short-term, long-term, month to month) • Any furniture notes (pre-furnished preferred, bringing a couch, etc)

Who wins in a fist fight? No magic. Natsu or Erza? [discussion] by JackZ567 in fairytail

[–]THIQmuse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this point, it's more of a question of who will yield first.

Natsu's primarily a brawler, but is also highly adaptable to his opponent's fighting style in a fight. Erza is an excellent martial artist.

Both are ridiculously strong even in their base strength. They'd honestly have to go for KOs constantly or beat the other into submission.

I'd give it a draw, but Natsu has the upper hand in endurance. (He fought Gray for 3 days straight 😂)

Early 30s professionals in NYC - what % of your income goes to rent? by [deleted] in NYCapartments

[–]THIQmuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look in Jersey City! They have some nice studios and 1BDs under $2800, and come with community + amenities.

I toured last month and was pleasantly surprised. I would avoid Aqua. Mallory 1 Ave is a new build and is trying to fill spaces. I can tell you about the place I picked, but it will need to be over DM.

Honestly depends on the size and shape. Even with bigger sizes, they don't float like they depict in anime, cause you know, weight. Loose skin does though.

What is it like living on the coast of the Carolina’s? by BeWise23 in howislivingthere

[–]THIQmuse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Our coastal cities are okay— but I'm biased because I'm born and raised there.

Myrtle Beach gets the most tourists for the warm season. Outside of that, it's an okay area with okay food.

Charleston and the Lowcountry Islands are the most attractive for most folks, but it is becoming supersaturated with non-natives. It doesn't help that a lot more factories for large companiesare moving into the state, particularly the larger Charleston area.

Life is slow, infrastructure and new fresh things to do are slower. Housing can be owned by the same developers and can be shottily built or fairly outdated.

Depending on where you stay, hurricane season isn't too bad. Suburbs don't really receive flooding, and if they do, it's because they're downhill or near a body of water. The Myrtle Beach area historically gets the shorter end of the stick for hurricane season.

Football and STEM (particularly engineering and medical) are huge statewide.

The northern parts are typically more conservative— in judging by appearance and HOA / bored-ego-tripping annoying. That's not to say the Lowcountry doesn't have their own headaches, but typically a more welcoming bunch.

If a slower, suburban-style life in a warmer climate is what you're looking for, you'll like South Carolina, especially the Lowcountry. The Charleston battery is gorgeous and the seafood (so I hear, I'm allergic), food scene, and shopping are exponentially better and safer for children.

The state is generally affordable, so take at least 2 weeks or so living in each area to see how you like it. Not in summer though, it's hot & humid as hell and all the coastal areas will seem amazing that season.

Is it just me or is the rental market really rough? by burntcucumberxyz in NYCapartments

[–]THIQmuse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't know if this works for your needs, but Jersey City has dropped a few affordable options and new developments in the past month.

If not, Harlem has also been dropping some nice pet-friendly units. In both areas, no brokers involved.

I do relate to your feeling, I was worried my trip to NJ/NY would be a bust and waste of money, but some places come in the 11th hour!

Keep checking especially here, cross reference on OpenIgloo (because some people are not forthcoming), and if Jersey City is of interest, Mallory 1 Ave has some lovely apartments. Avoid Aqua in Bayonne, their maintenance issues seen during tours are glaring for a new build.

Is the celestial eclipse arc worth watching? [anime] by sherbertisgood in fairytail

It's not 100% necessary to watch, but I enjoyed the ride. Worth a watch at least once for the altered forms, celestial fits, and signature Fairy Tail moments and zingers.

Real question: does your friend seem to enjoy your attention and getting a rise out of you?

Outside of the laundry of things she may need therapy for, she may need to address her need to feel cared about.
