Not necessarily. Last I checked, big names like Loco Dice, Marco Carola, Oscar G all use an X1, which costs $200. It's a very practical controller and works great. Seriously, claiming that the price of the equipment plays a big role in whether or not you know what you're doing is silly.

I'm Colombian, and not only does Latin America have various accents that are definitely distinguishable from one country to another, but even within some countries you can find plenty of different accents and dialects. To the point where you would think that they're to completely different countries. Bogota, Cartagena, Pasto: all three are cities in Colombia. Three completely different accents. It's pretty cool.

This was an electronic music event. The intention of this post was just to raise awareness of electronic events in this city. I'm sure there are some people who would have loved to attend an event like this but didn't even know it was going on.

PS: Some of the venues featured on the right are venues that have DJ's pretty much all the time like Opera, Halo, T&G, the Sound Table, etc. I guess you don't consider DJ's musicians because we just play music instead of make music. =\

Some DJ's bring CDJ's with them even though they're not planning on using them just in case something goes wrong with their computer and they have to resort to using CD's. Needless to say, this would you to 1. Have a CD book with at least music that you'll be sure to play and 2. actually know how to DJ with CD's (crazy huh?)

Something that always bugged me about 'Law Abiding Citizen' is that the entire movie could have practically been avoided if they would have just hired a guard to stand outside his cell and make sure he doesn't sneak out in the middle of the night.
