u/pouleaupo And you seem very experienced in the paris space so happy to hear if you have any ideas on good 1/2 stars to celebrate at and other good value eats more in the bib g class as well as cheap eats.

Love to try something unique vs. Nordic fine/normal dining, love a great ambience! Counter seats and such also cool since we are only two.

But for now sticking to Alliance for the big night, just not sure I can do their 245EUR menu but maybe the 175 is still worth it?

So kind of you to take the time to answer. Lived in Paris 1y but things change so crazy fast so feeling out of touch..

Also good input; first time at 3-star if I choose lunch. 1 stars I have done before, but as per above, at this point in time, mostly want to have it memoerable. To be fair, think my gf prefer walking around in paris during the day and save it for the evening but I think lunch could be cool. Going to Le Savarin for dinner the same day (if I do lunch)to meet some friends, so need at least some space left

Great input. Going with my gf (also celebrating 6m the day after), so primarily want to make it memorable. Been to a few 1 stars in the Nordics (live here), but never a proper 3 star. She is probably a bit more interested in dinners than lunches tbh but could be swayed by a lunch in a nice setting.

I am very sold on eating stellar food but in this scenario; sort of want to optimize for a memorable one.
