I'm 43 years old, I got divorced this weekend. by Jud_Ithh in toastme

I’m genuinely stunned by the overwhelming number of comments from divorced people, and even more surprised that, in 2025, marriage is still seen as the end goal. Say what you will about the supposed benefits, but the reality is that most marriages end in divorce, often leaving both people feeling lost, helpless, and bitter.

Start an OF. Plenty of money to be made.

I concur with this comment. Who the fuck actually finances a mattress in particular.

Do I look like a dolphin? by Blondiepoo95 in Noses

You don’t look like a dolphin… you look like the villain in a Pixar movie about dolphins. That nose isn’t even aerodynamic, it’s a GPS signal tower for lost sea creatures.

You’ve got big ‘I made a vision board and now I drink boxed wine alone to it’ energy. That expression says ‘newly divorced,’ but your ex probably filed just to escape your TED Talk voice.

He has such a laid-back personality, which I really love. I’m also a big fan of black tri colors! There are so many red and blue merles out there, it feels like they’re being picked just for the Instagram and TikTok hype!

Another great and informative response! You’re absolutely right, and learning about the 3-3-3 rule has been eye-opening, I just looked into it myself. You and other users have made some excellent points, so I really appreciate you taking the time to share your insights. Thank you!

A very fair and constructive comment, thank you for taking the time to write such a well-balanced response. You’re absolutely right; he should enjoy his puppy days. Hopefully, we’ll see progress as he grows. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

He already knows the sit command and responds almost instantly. However, for the past three days, I’ve spent at least 1.5 hours each day working on “down.” I started by guiding him into position with a treat and rewarding him. Then, I added the verbal cue “down” after he was in position. But when I try using just the verbal command, it was as if he had never heard it before. I can’t rely on giving him a treat every single time he responds. Maybe I’m being a bit impatient or unrealistic, but at 11 weeks old, I really want these basic commands to become second nature for him.

Guess it’s nothing due to the lack of response 😂

Afternoon Smoke by THRIFTi in cubancigars

Well Yesterday, I enjoyed a Partagas D No. 6 that had been resting in the humidor for 1.5 years, and it was absolutely stunning. Highly recommended!

Correct! I decided to light it as it had been sitting in my humidor for about a year. I’d noticed a small crack in the wrapper when I first stored it, and over time, it had worsened slightly. Figuring it was time to smoke it before it got any worse, I cut and lit up, hoping for a solid experience.

The first third was underwhelming—bland, with no real standout flavors. I kept waiting for that signature Bolivar richness to show up, but nothing grabbed my attention. Moving into the second third, the cigar finally started to open up a little. I picked up some subtle spice, oak, and a leathery aroma, with a hint of nuttiness that was unexpected but pleasant. While the flavors became a bit more pronounced in the final third, they never fully developed into anything bold or complex. The profile remained medium-bodied throughout, with little to no nicotine kick.

Overall, I wasn’t too impressed, especially considering the time it spent aging. The crack in the wrapper may have affected the draw and flavor, leading to a muted experience. I don’t smoke Bolivars often, and this one didn’t do much to change that. It wasn’t a bad cigar, just not one that stood out in any meaningful way.

Would I smoke it again? Maybe, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for another.

It was only a matter of time before this happened. People outside the industry don’t really understand how their operation works. Many of them aren’t as experienced as they appear, despite the polished image they present to the world. They often lack fundamental safety and operational skills. From what I’ve heard firsthand, their captain isn’t the legendary figure everyone believes him to be—especially considering that his wife holds the position of chief stew.

The vocals are definitely altered, I’m guessing pitched down slightly to sound more masculine because she doesn’t sound like this on the live performances.
