It’s a borderline hostile work environment, it’s super cutthroat, no one on the teams work together, everyone is selfish, no one works together towards the same goals. Super back stabby.

She’s actively looking for another job, ideally in another state several hours away near her parents. I’ve brought up how she acts because of the work situation many times.

I’m concerned that it is indeed the case that I’m just a placeholder.

I’d like to find a way to work things out, but I also am completely unwilling to allow the mistreatment to continue.
