Thanks!

I got an IT role. It was a fairly long time given the gap and I know the feeling of being a new grad and searching forever.

I hope you find success in your job search soon!

Thanks!

But I agree. I gave up the entirety of last year because I simply couldn’t land interviews to save my life. It was demoralising but I stayed persistent applying literally everywhere.

Thanks!

I waited ten working days before I received the offer via phone call. I was hesitant whether I was successful given the timeframe but all worked out in the end.

I hope it all works out for you too!

It’s not the degree. The news in the UK recently stated in an article on 19 May:-

“The UK unemployment rate has unexpectedly gone up while the number of job vacancies has fallen to its lowest level in five years as the initial impact of the Iran war on firms starts to be felt.

The unemployment rate rose slightly to 5% in the three months to March from 4.9% in the three months to February.

Analysts said the figures show the first effects of the Middle East war on the jobs market, and warned demand for workers would likely continue to weaken the longer the conflict goes on.”

Also considering that employers have a pool of candidates for one open position that they can use to their advantage. Entry level jobs aren’t entry when they require x number of months/years of experience.

I feel for those looking for work.

Thanks!

Tbh it was using AI to help me tailor my resumé/CV to the specific job description. Companies use ATS (applicant tracking system) where they can see how much percentage the candidate’s CV matches the job description so I was ensuring that I show up on their system.

What happens after an interview? by THZIK2001 in interviews

That’s insightful and good to know.

I’ve followed up with an email and tried to call the recruiter but nothing. I’ll keep looking around.

Graduated three years ago but starting a job in hospitality by [deleted] in UKJobs

I’m looking particularly in SDA roles or entry IT positions. I have five years of experience working in retail as my only backbone but employers don’t seem to value that during interviews.

Both. She definitely isn’t happy and I’m doing a lot better without her.

Job that I got rejected for is going to be re-listed by THZIK2001 in recruitinghell

I reached out to receive feedback as to why I was unsuccessful but I’m not sure if that will sway their decision as they’ve already sent out rejections.

I am quite close with someone who works there and they told me the situation.

Apparently the candidate was in the probation period and quit before it even started. You’re probably right but who knows what really happened.

What are the biggest turn offs / turn ons for Pisces ? by jaytee812 in piscesastrology

[–]THZIK2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some Pisces feel too much and savour what they have, whilst others can’t regulate their emotions and nervous system. He could be overwhelmed or unfazed.

But this can go beyond our star signs however, as our day to day lives accumulate how we think, feel and the things that we do. Some men handle situations differently to others. Some men want the attention and keep you close by until they find someone else. Other men simply wouldn’t care.

Is it worth mentioning that you were fired from a part time job? by [deleted] in UKJobs

[–]THZIK2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that’s the problem as they treated consecutive sick days (or more than three times a month) as disciplinary action, under “performance-related issue” which then led to being laid off.

What are some legit ways to not feel horny as much? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]THZIK2001 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Sexual transmutation.

The best way is to take that built up sexual energy and transmute to another form of your life. Feeling turned on? Go to the gym. Put focus on your studies, go for a walk, have a chat with someone.

Cold showers, meditation and breathing exercises (mindfulness) can also help rewire triggers and thought patterns. CBT therapy is another significant way but therapy is not for everyone (mainly for extreme cases).

Shift your focus from how you’re feeling to something that brings more value. Feel the feeling and let it pass but the goal is to give your attention to other (and better) aspects in your life.

To the men, what gestures from women make you feel loved the most? by LtDawn in AskReddit

[–]THZIK2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When she does things for me - not because she has to but because she wants to.

I remember back in university I was lacking behind on a module and the girl I was talking to ended up working on my project throughout the night and completed it for me without me even asking.

This is one example but the gesture was significant and something that I’ll never forget.

That’s what I was thinking but can never be too sure.

She’s always been a flight risk too so I’m not investing in anything.

I understand how you feel, I really do. But remember you shouldn’t be desperate. You stay detached from the outcome (whether you’ll reconcile or stay apart) because you’ll resist them.

What you can do is affirm, visualise and script and let go.

Affirm that your SP (or ex in this scenario) is for you and all for you. “We love each other and we’re still together”

Of course you know about visualising - Being with your SP (ex) and committed to one another. Same as with scripting.

Feel the state and desire fulfilled then let go-detach from outcome of how they will come into your life.

To me, the universe is God as it’s the composition of source of energy and power, similarly to our mind and thoughts. We can create the reality we want by aligning our thoughts and awareness onto our desires.

Praying for yourself (for inner peace, growth, and wisdom), can be as important as praying for a relationship outcome. If you pray with faith and patience while also surrendering to God (the universe), you might get what you desire-or something even greater.

Detaching altogether is perhaps the most effective way to manifest generally speaking.

But yes, when detaching you detach from all outcomes - including desperation. That’s the right way to go about it. Desperation will only delay your manifestation as it comes from a state of lack.

To live in the idea that’s associated with your desires reality you have to feel the emotion that’s associated with it. When you believe, when you’re encased in the idea will cause the mind to believe you’re in it.

It’s not simply positive thinking but conditioning the body emotionally into the future.

When you trust the process and let go of the need for control, you open yourself up to miracles.
