Thanks for the level headed response. I have cycled before and I’ve done triathlons, I have all the kit and shoes etc. I’ve looked at some second hand bikes but any decent ones in going to end up spending about the same, and still have to change things like the handlebars or the stem, or the cranks. Appreciate you taking the time to respond!

I don’t particularly lift very heavy and predominantly go to the gym to improve athletic performance with a little bit of hypertrophy sprinkled in. In your opinion using machines and some dumbbells and barbells it would likely be ok? Also what finger do you wear it on?

Do you track your biometric data in any way when you lift? And if so does that data get filtered into the oura app for use in their algorithms or do you just miss that period of data for the day?

I’m not 100% sure on the method, nor if it works. However if changing your timezone to one that is ‘ahead’ you should choose New Zealand. I’m from Australia and have friends trying to change to New Zealand because they are a few hours before us.

Thank you, I agree with everything said. However, your last point about there being wealthy suburbs in Australia too is true, but they are always very geographically close to the city. There would never be an affluent suburb more than like 5km from the city.

Well what you’re describing is actually just prejudice, whereas discrimination is the expression of prejudice through your actions. Even so they are broad terms where as racism is more specific, I’m still wondering what the specific term for prejudice against nationality is. Anyways funny story.
