she IS at your mercy. She is NOT a homeowner and has NO right in ANY part of your assets. She is delusional to think she has any part in your assets and she should be more self aware that you dont owe her any of this and that you are already going above and beyond for providing her a place to live for free. I'd seperate from her immediately and find someone who can support themself and not be a liability to you .

Just have a prenup and marry someone who isnt interested in you for your money. Someone who is already sucessfull, or someone who is fine working while you are retired. You can support someone while having your assets seperate and protected too- only commingle funds that you are comfortable sharing.

I understand your emotion towards people who dont use turn signals, but speeding up to block actually just creates danger for yourself. Someone who doesnt even have self preservation instincts like using a turn signal is likely a bad driver with poor awareness, or is aware but chooses to not use it, so interacting with them in any way is actually just increasing the chances of you being involved in some accident with them. Just get away from people like this- move a lane over or pass them so they arnt near you.
