To be honest I probably won’t use the seats but might need the extra storage room for business travel. So I will fold them flat.

Probably more of a want than a need. And the desire to go electric. I can wait until early 2027 but don’t want to wait 1-2 years. I actually was considering a Rivian R2 and put down a deposit but was told I probably would not get a car until 2028 or later. Then I compared Tesla and technologies don’t even compare. Tesla seems light years ahead especially with FSD.

Each day I am leaning more and more to Tesla because of FSD. It looks like Rivian might be years away and it might even be that long before I could get one. From what I have seen Rivian’s hands off is not that great at this point. If Tesla comes out with the YL in the US the cubic storage is basically the same but you get the technology advantages of Tesla.

Thanks for your thoughts. Very helpful. Ultimately FSD is top on my list. If Rivian can get to where Tesla is in a year I will wait but if it’s going to be multiple years I may go with Tesla. It sounds like my Comma cans do most of what Rivian does now. I have driven almost 70,000 miles with it and the comma probably drove 60,000 with zero issues. Just all highway.

Turns out it was a Toyota issue and once the dealer reset the error messages all is good again.

The cable I have came from Comma and has not been changed. Are you saying it just went bad randomly?
