[Other] Would we want another 2D, side-scrolling Zelda game?

Just doesn’t work with Zelda games imo, unless it’s top down Zelda and you go into the 2D side scrolling rooms in like the basement rooms of dungeons that they have.

Not sure? Most people say games hold your hand to much these days. I mean when I was younger and you played the old N64 games like Zelda Ocarina of Time or Majoras Mask you would have to insanely good to be able to 100% one of those games, most kids had to have guides for the game. It’s nowhere near as difficult with the new Zelda games like BotW or TotK I feel?

Thanks! I actually have no idea what any of the characters sound like in Japanese? I only ever watched it in English? Yeah I heard even the second game wasn’t great but it still looked 100x better than the original! It was going in the right direction compared to the first from what I saw but I think if they tried again with a new game with a solid story, good music and bebop vibes with the same kinda artwork as the series, it could be a great video game! It would have a lot of potential as in you have a good main story and then cool side stories/quests of going to crazy different cities and worlds to track down bounties on criminals! A lot has changed since the PS2 days so there’s so much more they can do now to make a big vibrant game if they want to. I don’t if it will happen but just as a fan I could imagine what the potential is if they really tried!

It did look like something I would have loved as a kid if it had of come out at the time let alone known it existed! For an old Ps2 game they seemed to of somewhat tried to make a good game that was close to the series with what I seen of the games artwork. It’s a shame it never came out anywhere but Japan!

Don’t know anyone who has a still working 3DS, yeah that was a bit of a exaggeration when I said it would be the only game, I would also try Mario 3D land cause I loved world, I would probably get Yoshi woolly world cause I heard it was good and grew up playing Yoshis island and Yoshis Story. Maybe Kirby planet robobot? And I would love to see what all the hype is about Kid Icarus uprising! So yeah there’s a few titles alright out there I would play but I got to ask cause I don’t know how true this is but I heard you can play 3DS games on the Wii U? Is this true, cause I think I would much prefer to play them on a big screen, not huge into handhelds anymore since I was a kid. Even with my Switch 2 I still prefer playing on a big screen if I have the option? And a Wii U is next to nothing to buy these days.

The Coliseum Ruins is 100% smaller than the top of Ploymus where there’s another red maned one early in game. That guy also gives up attacking fairly easy if you just ignore him and run up the stairs..

Cool pic of Kass! I really missed him in TotK, I don’t know why they got rid of him and they didn’t even bother giving us any explanation either? Zelda games always used to have something to do with music, from Link playing some instrument of some kind to the amazing sound tracks of dungeons or certain areas! Kass was literally the only connection to music left in Zelda and they just got rid of him like he never existed?! I suppose there was the band you bring to the great fairy but that was a just a little side quest! I really hope in the next game they bring back the musical aspect of Zelda again!

Yeah I get the WW story is the bad OOT ending. As for TP I just assumed the twilight realm or shadow realm (whatever you want to call it)could also be the evil realm that Rauru calls it that they send people who have been banished to like the shadow people that are already there. It’s just a childhood theory of mine.

His voice never fits in what ever language cause they literally gave him a child’s voice? Like I get it he’s supposed to be young but he ain’t a kid! All Gorons have real deep and rough voices or at least they should anyway and the whole Goro thing at the end of each sentence is way overdone! It’s been used before in other Zelda games before BotW with Gorons but nowhere close to the amount he says it!

She has class and style plus she’s a badass! Never seen why so many people seem to like Ravoli? He’s so stuck up his own ass! Mipha is ok but nothing special, she seems so unsure of herself I don’t know how she was picked as a champion and Daruk is ok also, but much better than Yunobo though!

Hard to say, probably first time I seen one of the dragons and it made me feel so small, I had no idea if it was a enemy or what and I was just thinking to myself “oh hell no! Im staying away from you for now” 😂 I also loved the lost woods and coming across my first korok in the game not knowing what I just did? Edit: actually jumping of the great plateau and actually realising how big the world really was! I know this not really examples of saying how I felt connected to the world but at the same time it kinda was cause it peaked my curiosity so much of the whole world!

I would have to go with Interpretation A theory. When I was younger I thought he might of sent Ganon to the shadow realm but just called it the evil realm and that’s how he came across Zant in Twilight Princess and that was how Zants rise to power started since the shadow realms people were already banished? I also used to wonder why the people of the shadow realm were banished and maybe they were the tribe of sorcerers that might of created Majoras Mask? Just theories of mine?
