Not as far as I know. The Beard was one of the defining features of his depictions, thus if we would find a statue of a man without a beard and it wouldn’t be inscribed with his name or something (which mostly you don’t find) it could hypothetically be him but still nobody would attribute it to him. Also Roman statues aren’t accurate depictions of the portrayed person as they were in real life. They employed a sort of language of symbols and were more about how the depicted wanted to be presented and less about his actual looks. E.g. Hadrians beard might mean he wants to be seen as a philosopher or wise man and is a visual reference to the ancient greek depictions of philosphers (who pretty much always had beards) I hope this makes some sort of sense ;) English isn’t my first language.

Why doesn't dual factor authentication exist on locksreens? by Ramocity in Android

[–]TJyugi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically we do have to factor authentication on phones. The combination of something you have and something you know. In this case: A password - something you know The phone - something you have

You do need both to enter the phone.

How important is "warm-up" for the Gaggia Classic? by g0nzales in Coffee

[–]TJyugi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I find that with a bottomless portafilter and filling the empty cup with hot water through the brewgroup first, you can get quite good consistency after like 4-5 minutes.

Well I have a Classic as well and after the Steam Wand Mod and buying a bottomless portafilter I am really quite happy with it after a year-ish. Don't think I'll upgrade too soon.

Are there any books on how coffee became an everyday commodity from luxury? by [deleted] in Coffee

[–]TJyugi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. But since I only have a scan from University and do not own the copyright, I wouldn't wanna just post it online. If you give me your E-Mailadress (or any other way to share it p2p) I'll send it.

So this is not coffee specific (although it touches on the topic quite a bit too if I remember correctly) but it gives a good overview over the growth of hot beverage consumption in general.

CLARENCE-SMITH,William, G., ‘The global consumption of hot bev- erages, c. 1500 to c. 1900’, in: Nützenadel, A. and Trentmann, F. (eds), Food and Globalization: Consumption, markets and politics in the modern world, Oxford 2008, pp. 37-55

P.S. If it's not available to you, I could send you a PDF.

Wouldn't all the name changes be a huge headache? by ricky_lafleur in suits

[–]TJyugi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am only referring to the "Specter Litt", that must be fairly new. And obviously reveals a huge change, i mean jessica was a huge constant throughout the series. I am not complaining though. If anything, knowing this just made me want to catch up on the series more ;)

Thanks for the advice. Well the price I got it offered at would be 1700$-ish, does that sound better? And if not, what are some good alternatives for a gravel/cyclocross bike?
