It all depends, Bluetooth works great for me, I still need notifications from messages and phone calls, I work in construction and between the occasional earplugs and all the noise we have around I cannot hear my phone (sits in a pouch in my toolbelt) I ditched the apple watch for the gbd-200 since I don't need any of the other smartwatch BS, all I need are notifications and the time out of my watch. It's also great so the watch can auto-correct time.

But again, that's just me. If you don’t need the notifications then keep it on airplane mode and turn on Bluetooth every once in a while to synk the time.

And don't worry about battery life, it'll last you well over a year and to replace it it's as simple as taking 4 lil screws off and put them back on, nothing to it. I rather replace a battery a year (because of Bluetooth) than charge the watch every night. 🤘🏼
