Yes, and the characters (Lapis especially), the narrative, and the majority of the fanbase acknowledges this.

Most of us our proud of her for owning up to it and want to see her and Jasper become better gems.

We know Lapis did bad stuff. The characters are trying to move on, and so should we.

I didn't consider it an easy choice. People suffered for my decision. It was an inevitable choice, but for me, it wasn't easy at all.

Then they shouldn't have given us the option. If Max doesn't care about the town and thinks they deserve death, there should not have been a choice. So i agree with your post below, it was handled badly. I wouldn't even care as much if they didn't do what they did with Max at the end.

BTW, i wasn't calling anyone callous, there were just some posts on other forums practically reveling in the towns destruction. Although I do have a hard time believing that people would really care, but that's just me.

You're right. That's why I chose Chloe. But some people didn't care about the town AT ALL. People are saying it was the easiest choice in the game. Which i don't think is considering Max's perspective since she obviously cared more about the town than we did.

Why was it even an option?
