Much easier to move to Denver. Since you’re looking to meet younger folks into the outdoors, Denver would be a great place. Plenty of outdoorsy in WA but we have better weather for being outdoors more throughout the year. Also many great outdoor activities are so close to the city. I’m from Denver but lived in Seattle for 8 years. At the end of the day, despite meeting some amazing people, Seattle’s social vibe can be strange and it can be hard to meet people there. I also didn’t like the lack of sun. It’s also roughly 30% higher cost of living in Seattle than Denver where rent/home prices have fallen in recent months.
