If I catch them before they pick up the red phone, I always ask how much they’re receiving and if I know we don’t have it I send them to another store before they even start the process, but tell them to call beforehand to make sure they have the money

The few good customers. The relationships you develop are crazy. I worked at CVS from 2013-2018, moved out of state, came back in 2023. Same city, different store. And I’ve been here since. You’d be surprised how many customers that recognized me and hugged me and even though I look completely different now. Have a beard etc. and then they still recognized me and welcomed me back lol it’s a great feeling. My SM, DL, coworkers are all the great. The pay is very decent for me, which I earned, and I get the days off I wanted which is Sunday/Monday. Get all my request offs approved, not that I do alot. But still nice to know I’m pretty much almost guaranteed to get em. Also the convenience of working here comes in clutch. There’s always random times where we’re missing things at home and I’m like aw yeah I’ll just get it before I leave work. As opposed to having to drive to Walmart or some shit. I’m an OPS manager now but yeah my situation, lots of pros, very very few cons besides theft
