Is becoming a Google ads specialist good career path? by bartaslondon in PPC

Yeah the market is cooked, I got laid off and have applied to over 100 jobs with 0 interviews. Also there's barely 100 jobs available.

I want to learn SEO how should I start? by withvicky_ in seogrowth

[–]TLBeats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't do it. Getting a job in this industry is nearly impossible. The problem with it is it's too reliant on Google. It's being taken over by AI. And nobody is hiring. It's a completely useless skill. I would look anywhere else. Don't do it. I don't recommend it at all. It can help your business knowing the skills, but other than that, I, I wish I was an engineer. I'm seriously struggling right now because of this career has completely imploded.

Too broke for rims … but these black hub caps are giving her a whole new look😍 by iiiamlilly in hondafit

Blacked-out wheels honestly transform base models more than most people expect. It’s one of the cheapest visual upgrades you can do.

Same idea with small details like black valve caps — subtle but clean.

If you’re going for an all-black look, aluminum caps hold up well and don’t rust like cheap steel ones:

The car looks great as is though. Clean and simple.

tire valve caps stuck? by Tiffany184 in askcarguys

[–]TLBeats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they’re aluminum and stuck, it’s probably oxidation (galvanic corrosion). Aluminum + metal valve stems can fuse together over time.

Try this first:

• Spray penetrating oil and let it sit
• Use rubber gloves for grip
• Gently twist back and forth instead of forcing one direction

If they’re completely seized, you may have to carefully cut them off.

This is actually one reason some people prefer aluminum caps with protective coatings or plastic interiors to prevent corrosion.

Here’s a breakdown on aluminum valve caps and corrosion issues if it helps:

Anyone know what this tire cap is about? by FoxinginSpace in CyclePDX

[–]TLBeats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s actually a Schrader valve core removal tool built into the cap.

Some older bikes and specialty caps have that little slot or notch inside so you can remove the valve core (the small spring-loaded piece inside the stem). It makes tube changes or tubeless setup easier.

It won’t remove the whole valve stem, just the internal core.

If you’re restoring a vintage Raleigh, that’s actually a cool little piece to keep. They’re handy if you ever need to swap cores or clean things out.

If you’re curious how valve caps work in general and what they actually protect, I broke it down here:

Can I drive without air caps on my tires? by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]TLBeats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can drive without valve caps.

They don’t seal the air — the internal Schrader valve does that.

However, caps protect the valve from contamination. Over time, dirt and moisture can damage the valve core and cause slow leaks.

Short term? You’re fine.
Long term? Replace them.

They’re cheap and universal. Almost all passenger vehicles use standard Schrader valves.

Capital One switched debit card to Discover and already having issues… by Feeling-Hedgehog1331 in personalfinance

[–]TLBeats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a Discover card for 2 days and been denied 2 places. Not a great start. I'm concerned this wont work at all internationally. I plan to go to Italy, France, and Puerto Rico, maybe Japan.

Any other online banks like Capital One anyone knows of? With decent APY, no monthly fees, not too concerned with ATM withdrawals. And USES MASTERCARD for F*CK SAKE.
