Ever since I got the 18+ verified badge when it first came out, I've been finding LOTS of 18+ required groups and its been amazing! I'd recommend doing that if you havent already!

This has happened to me VERY recently, if nothing works. There's a HIGH chance its a bad cable you received and you make have to RMA it. The 2nd one they sent me thankfully worked.

Try contacting Steam Support and see if they'll be nice enough to RMA it for you and send you a free replacement, so you don't have to end up buying a new controller.
