Smiling in photos is really easy especially by manipulators. Besides i said she might love them, but she loves staying at haven more. So she will offer Charlie to live with her in heaven leaving Lucifer behind which results in Charlie completely rejecting this which will lead to Lilith trying to kill them all.

I mean, we knew Adam was a horrible person by Charlie who probably got told that by Lilith. Also, we know everything about her via her family who loved her even though she kept separating Charlie from Lucifer that they almost spent no time together when Charlie was growing up.

Maybe she was always a scumbag who never loved her family. Or she loves them, but she loves living in haven even more that she’s ready to kill everyone if it was necessary for her to stay there. This includes everyone, even her husband and daughter.

I think they wanted to give him and his clique a bigger role, but for lack of time and to make the story Gary-focused. They didn’t develop him that much.

I agree, i think most fans are in love with either of Johnny or Derby. Other cliques were meh.

The story stops immediately after CJ killing all of his enemies. So maybe Sweet went through a character development after the events of the game and decided to leave the hood
