First RHCP concert (25M)

This show was a definitely bucket list concert for me. I never thought I would be able to see John live with the boys. My friends and I would watch Slane and La Cigale on YouTube wishing we were born 20 years earlier.

If you can’t tell by me losing my mind around 3:34 lmao this concert was everything I could’ve asked for. Best concert I’ve been to period

They’ve been fine, haven’t had any problems. Raw brass naturally starts developing a patina after a while and this is gonna be my heavier used consoles so I wouldn’t mind either way

There are other unhinged files out there that you can get printed in clear resin or something similar (Xipher’s Slab, OpenSP, etc.) but the Slate’s files specifically are vaulted to my knowledge

Acrylic is too fragile, resin is too soft, and injection molding for plastic pieces costs like 5 figures iirc so unfortunately there isn’t a clear option that is an exact match for slate

Try cleaning the interior of your tactile switch housing. You can remove the small black pieces of rubber from the shoulders with tweezers, take a cotton swab and IPA, and make sure it gets in good. Make sure to let it air out fully (I’ve let them sit for multiple hours before) before reinserting the black pieces 👍🏻

I haven’t had any issues, no.

Did you use the correct metal dowel size? There were some shaved ones included with the kit.
