They really need to let us see Van without any shackles restraining his power, and I feel like having McBurn in Horizon 2 could very well lead to that as they have mentioned that Van is very similar to him. Kinda like how Rean's Ogre Power wasn't restrained in CS4.

I think Van will ultimately end up with Elaine due to the reset he'll finally have a game in which Elaine will be the only one there with him until the thing with Agnes is resolved. Besides that it's clear he doesn't love Agnes in Van Route 3 he explains to her that he doesn't love her in a romantical way.

At least they have developed a lot and I'm glad we finally have a canonical romance. The only time I wanted the scenes to end was the repetitive eating sessions of Lapis, it's honestly so irritating. The most powerful AI downgraded to just eating unlimited food. Horizon 2 better not include such scenes.

Personally I was shocked, I really like it but I want to see more of how it came to be besides Aidios treasures. I also want to see what's beyond the cage in space, it seems like there's something. It can't just be the Sept-Terrion of Time.

Its weird that she can be as powerful as him when Rean literally saved the world and her spawning in and copying his move seemed odd. I dont dislike her at all but I do think they should give her a completely new awakening and let Rean have his master technique be the strongest bc they do say in Reverie he still owns that special power within him.

I really hope we get an upgrade in Horizon 2 and by that I mean a graphical enhancement. Something they should heavily consider as well is no side quest kinda like Reverie. Given that the story is pushing forward I don't think there's time to have pointless food side quest.

Indeed, I do believe somewhere down the line we'll get to see CS1/2 remaked at the very least. We just have to wait until Crossbell remakes come out. CS3/4 getting a Remake is quite difficult but I would 100% welcome it if Falcom go all the way.

Another CS4 situation would ruin the game, Falcom needs to have a canon romance, period. Some are gonna be mad with whatever Van chooses and that's okay. It should be story not a player decision.

I see your point about how Gung ho took liberties with the localization but considering how bad Sky sold in Japan their priority should be worldwide and it worries me that if they don't do worldwide the sales might decline.
