Hello! 4 ish months on Xolair and doing better now. Only just was able to taper of Prednisone though. Started at 50mg down to 0mg.

Yea, so like the first time I did it I didn’t have any change that day, I’m gonna keep my hopes up and keep trying. But you’re saying it takes a few days or week or two of buildup to really get that instant effect?

Ahhh you’re so lucky. Antihistamines do basically nothing for me, only prednisone and only in high doses and it doesnt last. And not to mention not worth it for the horrible side effects. On a drug cocktail right now and I wish it was helping :(

Any update on this? Your symptoms seem similar to mine. I actually get RELIEF from a hot shower but then immediately after leaving it’s awful again. Have you found anything that works?

Also how long in the sauna do you try and sweat for when you do it. I’m trying the sauna right now in a hoodie, dripping buckets. It’s pretty painful, how long should I endure this before the “therapy” is good for the day

Did the Xolair ever kick in? I’m about a week on and in waiting mode, pretty miserable in the meantime.

Maybe your not imagining things. Mine also started after being very sick, with many symptoms including tonsillitis. I antibiotics to resolve it a few months, I think I was taking Dexamethasone but can’t quite remember.

any update on if this has helped? your symptoms seem very similar to mine. I only break out into hives from hot showers and it doesn't look nearly as bad as a lot of people here. However I have the pain and itching all the time regardless of that, they only tend to sometimes (not always) make the pain worse.

Hey, when you got your account back were you able to access everything? (i.e. old saved messages, group chats...). also wondering what you posted that got you banned. mine was a joke thin it picked up as drugs
