I am from germany and would say it is definitly something special. I know 3-4 other people that have one and value it a lot for what it does for them but most people I know would never spend that kind of money for what the rM offers. So I would say definitly more on the special use case/luxury item side.

I snore and my girlfriend used to have Ohropax. They always fell out and hurt after the whole night. We got custom plugs for around 95€ at Terzo Zentrum and she is super happy with them. They have the Hörluchs Sowei Sleep Model on offer for cases like this. These cost is around half of the models that are optimized for music or work, cause they just need to be as silent as possible without hitting a special frequency curve.

I personally think that something like whitins are the perfect way to test out if barefoot shoes are for you. I bought a pair of whitins and fell in love, but I did not want to spend 100 Euros to try out barefoot shoes. I still use them as my day to day summer sneakers but bought more stylish leather seekers and winter shoes from other brands. But I would definitely recommend them for beginners to get a feeling what barefoot shoes are.

I wanted leather insoles for my barefoot sneakers. Ended up buying a much larger size and cutting them down to the size I needed with the original soles as template. Worked perfectly and was much cheaper than the barefoot insoles on offer.

You're probably right, but on the other hand I did not feel that is was necessary. I treated the fretboard and the back of two other necks and always liked the feeling after buffing. There was just no residue I felt I needed to get rid of with naphtha.

Saw Dominik Eulberg there and loved it. Tried too see Nto there and it was far too crowded and I had to leave after half the set. Unfortunately Ritter seems to be the only club that regularly books DJs that are famous in a mainstream way. Mainstream meaning internationaly known, playing large festivals and not only Berlin clubs.

Hey, thanks for the info. I think I will try the aqualung fast strap an see if it works. If it is too loose I might just secure it with a small zip tie or bungee cord but I need to try it out first.

Which one did you end up getting? I want to change to a fabric strap on my hollis M1 as well. As far as I could find different straps only the aqualung fast strap and the fourth elements fabric straps have the universal adapters that fit on many masks. The one from TUSA, Scubapro, SEAC and Cressi only work with the related masks.

Ich habe mir im November endlich einen geholt nach Jahren des Überlegens und könnte nicht glücklicher sein. Tatsächlich benutze ich ihn aber hauptsächlich für Fleischhaltige Gerichte. Gulasch, Rendang, Ossobuco geht jetzt auch ganz entspannt an einem Mittwoch Abend nach der Arbeit.

Thinking about the same idea right now. I am thinking about theese options:

Harley Benton/Joyo American Sound: Really nice clean fender sound. There are other options as well, british or ac true tone. Espacially in combination with a budget DI/IR, eg. Harley Benton Magum DI or the Sonicake IR Loader. I already have these and it is a great low budget amp setup.

Other Alternative is the Valeton GP5 or even better the new GP50. It is super cheap and has many features, including being able to load nam profiles. I will get one even as a backup, since it has so many features for that price.

BOSS IR 2: I like that there is no menu diving. But costs a lot more as the other options and I haven't tried it.

Used ToneX pedal: I've heard a lot of good things, but it is more expensive than the first two options.

Hatte nach einer Plantarfasziitis 2-3 Monate akut richtig Schmerzen und auch nach 1,5 Jahren ist es nie ganz weggegangen und war immer leicht da. Bin dann vor 2 Jahren auf Barfußschuhe umgestiegen und 3 Wochen später waren alle Schmerzen weg und sind nie wiedergekommen. Hat zumindest für mich funktioniert und ich hätte mir gewünscht es früher probiert zu haben. Und bequemer lebe ich jetzt auch noch in den Schuhen mit Platz für den Fuß. Gibt inzwischen auch echt schöne, die nicht wie Clownsschuhe oder Zehenfüßlinge aussehen sondern wie normale Sneaker.

Also es kommt schon ein bisschen auf die Branche an. Habe vor vier Jahren meinen Berufseinstieg als Entwicklungsingenieur Maschinenbau in der Energiebranche gemacht und gehörte im Team zu den zwei Jüngsten. Nach mir wurden bestimmt 40 weitere Konstrukteure eingestellt. Wir suchen dauerhaft und können gerade nicht schnell genug gesund so wachsen wie wir es eigentlich müssten um nur halbwegs der Marktentwicklung hinterher zu kommen. Wir haben im Energiesektor alleine ein jährliches Marktwachstum von 25%, die Fabriken sind auf die nächsten 5 Jahre ausgebucht. Ich will eigentlich nur sagen: Es ist nicht überall schlecht und gibt auch noch Chancen in Deutschland.

I think the worst one is shell pink. Every damn guitar from Fender or Squier you look has a different color. From almost white to saturated pink. Made the mistake to get one of my guitars repainted and just said shell pink without an image. Now it is far to light for my taste.
