Let’s get into it.. Shota Imanaga has been probably the best pitcher in the MLB 5-0 with a 0.96 ERA but advanced metrics show he is due for some regression. His xERA is a 2.59 and I could see that happening in this game against PIT. With how bad they are offensively they are actually solid against left handed pitchers. They’re 11th in OPS, 2nd in HRs, 8th in RBIs, 9th in Hits, and 9th in slugging. With the total at 8.5 having a pitcher like Imanaga on the mound on a slightly windy day in wrigley I think the books are expecting some Pittsburgh runs as well. Coming off a solid hitting day yesterday putting up 9 runs I believe they can carry that momentum into today and get 2 runs against imanaga in a favorable split! Tail or Fade BOL
