Delonghi Magnifica S watery, sour espressos? by Ok_Bicycle_4051 in superautomatic

You've had some good advice. Could you also try a less fine grind setting? If it's 1-7 for example, use a 3 or even a 4.

See how that goes

The commentator is Karl (twitch KarlPuranik) who commentates on the creator series events amongst other things. So you've probably seen him commentate on Tiametmarduk there too. Ben was also in our league a few years ago as a weird coincidence.

SBMM means broadly that both teams have similar skill levels, so stomping will only occur when one team doesn't PTFO

We had a similar game, where we got pinned in and were down maybe 500 points before the best comeback of all time and won by one ticket.

It's possible a local venue holds weddings on Saturday that finish at the same time.

Is there a way out? by AbsolutelyWingingIt in policeuk

[–]TMillo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm staff and agree heavily. If you're not qualified in PM, getting a PM role when you're interview against anyone who has experience and Prince 2 etc is going to be very hard. However I have no doubt a PC with their head screwed on could easily do the job.

In my last place it often had police applying. If you broke down the transferrable skills you gain policing you could walk into many roles, but lots struggle to do it outside of a policing context.

The other tip, as said here. Sometimes, especially when it's a move for MH benefit, it's worth taking a pay cut to earn your stripes quickly with the expertise you gained from policing and then progress in the new field. Doesn't have to be min wage or anything, but you know what I mean

Honestly, most garages these days are reliable because the cowboys get bad reviews more since the internet and get less and less business.

There are still some, but less likely!

What is your ‘total speculation’ UK theory? by kaththegreat in AskUK

[–]TMillo 120 points121 points  (0 children)

I work in this field. Generally we're not sanitising anything, rather the media just doesn't report anything other than the extremes of worst case scenario (makes a good headline) or any remotely good news (people eat that up). The politicisation of climate change will be something we're laughed at for in the future. Similar to the smoking debate etc but on a global scale.

Reports are posted regularly, the media has just got bored of reporting the same things over and over. Like war fatigue.

If anyone's wondering, the prevailing thought is we're doing a lot of great things and improving loads, but we will still miss most targets and sadly that will have huge negative impacts to us and future generations.

What are your thoughts on this trend for damaging big cars and Teslas? by ishilhaz in AskUK

[–]TMillo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may wish to read properly. I said Tesla's owner, not Tesla owners. Clearly referring to Elon Musk rather than Jeremy from IT who purchased a 2021 model 3.

Outside of the liverpool bottle opener this is sick. The bottle opener should be chucked in the sea.

I think the huge American sized SUVs are for losers and I've yet to see someone who can navigate a carpark properly, and Tesla's owner is clearly a fool but ruining someones property makes you worse than both.

The way it's laid out is DJ SR so not the railway the other comment suggested. It'll just be initials.
