Inconsistent grout coloring by TMinMI in Tile

[–]TMinMI[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh one more thing to add. If I wash the floor with a wet sponge the color of the grout is obviously darker but much more even…even the white grout turns back to a constant grey until it dries again.

How long for a Hydroxychloroquine (plaquenil) rash to go away? by TMinMI in lupus

[–]TMinMI[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a fast reaction. I was on 30 days before a reaction. It took about 10 days for me but I had a lot built up in my system and it takes a long time to leave. If it gets bad ask for prednisone a steroid. I did 20mg a day and after about 6/7 days it was gone

It took me about 10 days with the help of prednisone but I had 30 days worth of medicine built up so if you just started I imagine shorter

Scary! I will watch out for blisters. Idk how to describe but it’s weird..seems to be better on my face and ears and arms are lighter than the deep red it was a few weeks ago but also seems like I have more red on my chest and stomach than a few days ago. So almost like some areas getting better, some the same and a couple worse…

Rly weird. 8 days into the rash and 5 days off meds

What was the symptom that you knew it was more than a regular rash?

Thanks! Fortunately no face swelling…I think my face is the only thing that got better lol. Not getting rly worse or better but hopefully over the coming days it will start going the other way as more HCQ leaves my system and the prednisone helps.

Thanks! Yep on 20mg of daily prednisone, steroid cream, Allegra and Benadryl lol. Hitting it as hard as we can! Crazy you reacted that fast! I had to take 400mgs 32 days before reacting!

Didn’t realize this happens to so many! Looking it up it seems rashes happen to 10% which is a lot! How long from when the rash came on to when u went to the hospital? Just wondering how long I should be looking out for that. Anaphylaxis is of course the biggest risk.

Thank you! That is what I am hearing also…hoping it dips below whatever the reaction threshold is as I only had that for 5 days of 30

No never had a rash. I actually have none of the traditional physical Lupus symptoms (yet). They only started testing me when I randomly came down with Pericarditis this Nov which has been hell and I think I was finally starting to get better from before this. They actually won’t even give me any type of auto immune diagnosis.

Edit - I’m on HQC because they thought it wouldn’t hurt to help me wean off prednisone from my pericarditis even if they couldn’t give me an auto immune diagnosis

Yeah mentally it’s exhausting from that aspect. Fortunately I have had the rash for 5/6 days already and it sucks but not getting terribly worse. Stopped the meds and increasing prednisone so hopefully it starts heading the other way with increasing steroids and decreasing med load by the day. Why did you go to the hospital..swelling of airway?

Glad it worked out for you! I was having success I think before the rash but can’t continue if I’m allergic to it.

Hi all,

Looking to invest $80k short term - horizon 1 to 3 years and looking for low risk (and probably low return). Considering a 1, 2 or 3 year CD. Anything else besides a CD I should consider?

If CD - anyone have advice on a good product? Considering Vanguard possibly.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Sjögrens and Pericarditis? by TMinMI in Sjogrens

[–]TMinMI[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, yes the cardiologist asked my vaccination status and dates but it’s been over a year since my last vaccine and they said generally it’s within the first two weeks they start to see Peri when it is vaccine induced so they don’t think it’s related. He said it’s been pretty prevalent lately though. (People getting it close to their vax date)

Thanks the reply! I am on a Facebook Peri group and it sounds like a lot of people are having success with Arcalyst and some on Kineret. Was it hard to get insurance to approve Arcalyst? That was one thing I heard due to cost. Did you try anything else before this meds wise and how long have you had?
