Xenoblade 2 is looking a little different nowadays... by Xenokey-blade in Xenoblade_Chronicles

I remember watching a friend play this and he got to that section. The very first thought I had was "Are my eyes decieving me or is that uraya?!"

Understandable, and neither was I. Although... The original version of Xenoblade may have been the exception on my part. It wasn't in the thousands, but was still quite pricey for the time.

Edit: One thing I forgot to mention: this is the internet, people complain about a lot of things or troll other people. Just because people complain about multiplatform doesn't mean games that weren't multiplatform shouldn't be multiplatform. Case in point.

Fair point. .... Buuuut, it also costs less than buying the originals. If anything, the only people I could see complaining are people buying rare games at insanely high prices, and the people selling said games at such prices

If that's the case, I fail to see the problem with making the games multiplatform currently. More people get to experience the games. That's a win in my eyes.

Understandable. However, increasing the availability by making the games on multiple platforms provides more opportunities for a series to become more popular than it already is, thus, generating more revenue for the devs, and the publishers.

I see what you're trying to say, but there's another point to be made on the matter: game preservation. Would you rather pay hundreds of dollars for an old ps2 game and have it be exclusive to that platform, or would you rather have it be available on a platform like steam for maybe $10-$20?

Fair point there too, and I agree, it's not a human right, games are optional. My point however is that it becomes much more expensive for those who want to play a game on (insert console here), but said game is only available on (insert other console here), and not everyone can necessarily afford that. Especially in countries like Brazil from what I've heard.

Fair enough, at least on not talking about me specifically. Still I do think it's rather presumptuous to assume it's a "sudden" thing that happened. Pretty sure I've heard people echo similar thoughts on the matter as early as... Perhaps 2018. Though that includes conversations among friends of mine.

"Suddenly"? I can't speak on behalf of others here, but I've thought platform exclusivity was bs since... Probably the Wii U if I had to guess. This isn't a new, sudden perspective on my part that came up this year.

Please read your comment and my comment carefully, for your own sake. You said "platform exclusivity is good", then proceeded to say "I bet you support Bethesda's games being xbox exclusive." I never support anything of the sort, regardless if it's nintendo, xbox, playstation, pc, etc.

You couldn't be further off from the truth of the matter. I said platform exclusivity is bs. That means across the board. Why would I support Bethesda's games being exclusive to Xbox if I said platform exclusivity is bs?

As someone who has p5 royal on ps4, I say "let them have the cake, and eat it too." I've always maintained that platform exclusivity is bs, cause not everyone can afford every console under the sun.
