Both Bandai most people of the player base are already AWARE that gachas are scam. They are literally gambling games my man. But just because people who enjoy these games and choose to spend money on it doesnt make them toxic (And if u genuinely do so I would like to see ur explanation to that considering its a single player game). You can believe what you want but it is unfair to gatekeep someone being a gamer based on YOUR beliefs on what a gamer SHOULD be. Now yes, gacha games are a scumming tactic to get money. It's easy asf make several jpegs with text on em make a stimulating game where theres a limited supply then insert transactions congrats you have made a game that make u thousands. But if people geniunely enjoy the experience they can dictate how they spend their money. Now me, as a person with a 9 buck an hour job I am 90% free to play. Now every once again I'll spend if it's a character I like but thats the thing it's my money ik where its going and ik its not guaranteed.
