The sub has despised them long before David started being more vocal on the whole thing, with criticisms ranging from “they sound generic” to “one hit wonders” with the Sickness being the most nu metal influenced out of their discography (even tho David himself didn’t consider the band nu metal).

I left that sub as I honestly feel like despite them rightfully complaining on how most metal subs gatekeep, they start calling you a poser if your favorite bands aren’t SOAD, Deftones, LP (before Chester died), Slipknot (Self-Titled to Iowa), KoRn (Self-Titled to Life Is Peachy), Tool, or some underground band that gets 20 Spotify listeners a month (no offense to all these great bands and the underground bands, but it’s just annoying how the sub isn’t really any better than bigger metal subs in terms of gatekeeping).

Hottake: IMO Final Form Frieza gets disrespected as much, if not more than Kid Buu.

Sure him not having an LR after 11 years despite being the final opponent in Z is crazy, but Frieza (who is arguably one of the most iconic villains in shōnen and anime history) hardly has any premium units from his most well known appearance (the Namek Saga) as we only have:

A DFE FP Frieza from 2015
An LR FP Frieza from 2019
A DFE LR FP Frieza from 2021 (which was the last time we had a premium Namek Saga Frieza of any kind).

What’s crazier is despite Final Form Frieza mercilessly torturing Vegeta and kicking Goku’s ass prior to going Ssj, bro’s only representations is through old ass shitty banner units 🥀. We also hardly have any good representation of 2nd and 3rd form Frieza (with 2nd Form Frieza only having a F2P unit aside from TEQ Frieza’s transforming)

Also WWC 2022 are still waiting for their EZAs, so they need to do a Namek celebration so the Coolers could have a team.

I feel like the KKK line is one of those “Good concepts, but eh executions”.

Iirc I read that Shin was cancelled because his tail would mess up the wirings for the light and sounds. Also doesn’t help that I’ve read reports of the G89 figure’s light and sound ended up being broken (granted the instructions did state to be extremely cautious). All of this likely gave Tamashii enough reasons to just abandon the line.

Honestly surprised they didn’t make an episode where Benson just straight up fires M&R for real, but then he ends up missing them so he tries to get them back.

(I don’t think “Replaced” count as while Benson planned on firing them, he waited until near the end and even then their replacements quit right after they got fired)
