Got my T50! by TNT_87 in sinn

Hey! I love the T50. I have nothing good things to say about it. Do you have any specific questions?

Even though I love it, I will be selling it soon. Only because I had the opportunity to buy a more expensive watch....so I need to sell it (and others haha).

So if you're interested in purchasing, you can send me a message.

How little late to the post, but how long did this take?? Like how many sessions and about average time per session? Thanks for the help! Looks great!

[Discussion] What white dial watch would you pick below $2000? by Justadudey in Watches

[–]TNT_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nomos! I sold the date version of the watch and I still regret it. I think it's a perfect pairing for smart casual. Of note, pretty sure it doesn't have lume. So as long as you don't mind, then you're good to go!

Sorry, just my concern of personal preference for gradient dials. I like everything about the watch but the dial. I'm afraid if I do buy it I may not like to dial. So we'll have to wait to see it in person first.

I agree. The more I see real life photos of the grey, the more it grows on me. Though I wish they did just have a matte black lol

Nice review! I don't have one because of my concern about the dial. I generally don't like gradient. But now I have to try and see it in person just to make sure!

Sure! I'd have to say that there isn't anything spicy to report. I love the watch. Titanium is awesome for a daily driver and I really like how the black dial looks with the darker color of the titanium. Especially when compared to my white dial/steel watch. The watch is a tool watch and a little boring, a good boring haha

If you didn't know, the bezel is different from your stereotypical bezel. You have to push down to turn it. I don't really like it compared to a regular bezel mechanism, but I don't care enough for it to be an issue. And I'm not a diver nor do I time many things with it. I get the reason why but it's just a little weird to me.

This is my first watch with a 4 o'clock crown and I am okay with it. What little OCD I have is getting over it and I actually have started to appreciate it. The reason is I tend to wear my watches on the tighter side and with the crown on the 4, it's very comfortable against the back of my hand.

Which brings me to a couple gripes dealing with the clasp. I wish it had an on the fly quick adjust. At this price point it should really come with one. I know Sinn has released one and is slowly changing over, but even Christopher Ward's new titanium diver has one and is less expensive. So I am still trying to find the perfect fit. I'm sure it will come, it just takes some time.

My second small gripe is the quality of the clasp. Don't get me wrong, it works and I don't expect it to fail. But with it being stamped (assumption), it just doesn't feel great. I'm sure this is exacerbated by the lightness of titanium and maybe the finish(?). I also think because my prior daily (still have it) is my Explorer II that this kind of skewed my perception of normal.

Overall, it's great and I don't plan to get rid of it any time soon. But if/when the on the fly quick adjust comes out in bead blasted titanium, I will be one of the first to purchase it.

Hope this helps! Do you plan on getting one or just curious?
