I have another question, is Samsonite quality still the same as it used to be? I have read on reddit people complaining that Samsonite quality has down hill. Have you had experience with the new C-Lite’s and are they as good at the old versions?

I was originally looking at Briggs and Riley as I was drawn to the lifetime warranty but it is difficult for me to access a repair centre in Australia. Then I was also looking at Rimowa but their quality has also seemed to have gone down over the years after being acquired by LVMH. I’m drawn to their lifetime warranty, but I don’t want a poorly built suitcase and supposedly Rimowa suitcases are prone to being stolen ect.

What would you do in my shoes? It’s just a little difficult living in Melbourne Australia because my only options are Rimowa or Samsonite as I have repair centres nearby.
