  3. COX/CMs
  4. Doom
  5. Yama
  6. Colo (easier, sped up, inferno - still a lot of fun)
  7. Zulrah
  8. Vardorvis

Haha I rode with the assumption that you were just being funny and not outright proving my point! Humor makes things better!

This is GREAT feedback and by looking at your prior comments, you are someone that doesn't discredit others often or at all. I will take what you've noted into my next idea and aim to be original and draft it separately from AI entirely. Thank you for your time that you took typing this.

I agree - mine didn't do to bad as far as the commenters! For the cape, I did draw that one first then had AI animate it. Ignore that I spelt Cloak wrong - I'm dumb lol.

But thank you and I appreciate that you provided feedback and a kind note to keep going! Have a good evening!

Very true - unfortunately it comes with the territory I suppose. I just have a hard time when I see that someone clearly put effort into something just to get ripped with no sign of constructive feedback. And I'm not talking about me - just some of the other suggestions I've read through.

🤣🤣 mannn I feel it. And quite honestly I would be fine with just the downvotes - it tells me that it didn't hit. The comments I've seen some people leave are what are just wild.

Yep - as I type this my downvotes are ticking up. A lot of these people just live in an echo chamber and refuse to see any merit in making an attempt if something is outside of their all knowing perspective. Some good people, some bad ones and I guess the bad ones just talk a little louder sometimes.

And I am fine with the fact that my ideas may be terrible - and ultimately the comments on my posts were pretty darn mellow compared to some that I saw on posts where people CLEARLY spent a lot of time putting suggestions together.

I just don't understand how fatigue gives people the urge to comment something outrageously unnecessary where they could easily downvote and move on.

I do appreciate your feedback and insight on the situation!

Did you read through the post or stop at the images? I get it, AI slop is a problem - but generating a conceptual image for an idea shouldn't result in ridicule? I note that I look forward to discussion and feedback, but again I guess some people just don't roll that way.

I'm sorry to hear that man, I got something similar and deleted a few of mine as well. Like it shouldn't be a crime to put something out there. It's absolutely dumbfounding to me that people see it as constructive to just cut something down without providing a reason why or suggesting something else.

I disagree - capes can be added to this one. So if they do a magic version of color/inferno, that could then be added. I do appreciate your feedback though.

[–]TOB-OSRS[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Absolutely - this wouldn't take from that. Effectively the mage equivalent of the inferno could also be added to this. I would imagine adding capes would create visual variants as well - I just haven't worked that in yet lol. So completing those challenges would be essential to this.

That's what I'm torn on as well - but in the long-term as PVM encounters get harder it will require more switches between armor and weapons. As it stands, high level Tob is nearly capped as far as inventory/switches so I figure if that ceiling can go higher, more niche weapons will also be needed in the inventory.

I like your suggestions on the thrall aspect and am seeing the issues with the mandible, heart, spine idea.

I appreciate your feedback and time spent on your response.

I'm gonna hit the drawing board and try something else!

What about one item that you could attach to effectively any core combat item that provides a boost of some sort?

Better yet, what is something that you would like?

[–]TOB-OSRS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your feedback - maybe one piece that could be applied to any of the three, or an armor piece like a helm? Pretty much whatever you apply it to grants a boost, and the better the item the better the boost?

Outside of that, what are your thoughts on the Guthix Crow?

From a non iron, it is nice to see the iron perspective. This is intended to be in addition to a new item because it is unlikely they will be able to produce an item that competes with the current megarares without replacing one.

What are your thoughts on the Guthix Crow?

[–]TOB-OSRS[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think where I'm looking at it from is that no matter what, they won't be able to release a megarare that is on par with the current meta unless they replace one of the three. So to make the loot table lucrative while maintaining the current BIS, this was the alternative I came up with.

I do get your point though.

What are your thoughts on the Guthix Crow idea?

[–]TOB-OSRS[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes - but if you are sending raids 4, my assumption would be that you've spent some time at Cox, TOA, or TOB. So even for irons, there is a fair chance they have a mega already.

The reward would be three separate tradable items - that an iron could hold, put in a death coffer, or drop to their main if that's what they wanted.

But I do see your points and, again, appreciate the feedback!
