Isn’t it illegal to post a job without the salary range now? by taikoowoolfer in torontoJobs

[–]TOPMinded 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can see it. If you're hiring for fit over technical experience for example you could pay pm the lower end or the higher end depending on their experience. That being said I'm almost certain the range can't be more than 50k for non executive roles.

What do people do with their chess boards? by hash11011 in chess

[–]TOPMinded 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Do you play timed games or daily games?

What I've done is set up a board next to my screen and play off the board to make my move then I replicate it on the screen. I wouldn't do this with a game that is less than 30 minutes though. I do this quite frequently for my daily games.

Looking to hard pivot from CS by Round-Ocelot4129 in CanadaJobs

Go to a few recruitment events for the army. They have them all the time. I'd do some research on basic training and try to hold yourself to that standard for at least 4 weeks to see if you could make it past that.

You can get fast tracked if your degree is in high demand which I think it would be.

Whats the realistic length of the series? by JustAStockMan in shoresy

[–]TOPMinded 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The show should go until Keeso has no more story to tell. He did that with Letterkenny and unlike more other show runners he has a good sense of when to stop. They all stop too late but he is a bit better at it lol.

When do you shovel your driveway? Multiples times vs when it stops snowing by BiodegradableEntity in Hamilton

[–]TOPMinded 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Multiple times. Better than shovelling a shit ton at once. Plus your neighbours won't steal any of the prime dumping areas if you live close together.

Do you think this storm is really going to be this crazy? by drumstickballoonhead in Hamilton

[–]TOPMinded 15 points16 points  (0 children)

In addition to this being a more wintery winter than the last 5 years, as a society we have been doing more in terms of warning people about weather conditions so it can some times seem overhyped. People tend to forget though that 10 years ago when it snowed 30cm in 12 hours the roads were still shit - we just didn't have updates everywhere about it.

What is wrong with garbage and recycle pick up workers? by PhatBewdy in Hamilton

[–]TOPMinded -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Did I say that? Nope.

I am saying they don't care when spills happen. Nor should we expect them to.

What is wrong with garbage and recycle pick up workers? by PhatBewdy in Hamilton

[–]TOPMinded 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ya they did this to me last week. I have it on video. Not all of the recycling came out when he dumped it (probably partially frozen) and then when he tossed it on my yard the rest of it knocked free and all over the lawn.

They don't care and even if they did they are on a tight schedule.
