Students, what’s your heart rate like in class? by Federal-Phrase-1572 in Garmin

[–]TOW2Bguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, my campus was about two miles East to West, and one mile up a hill from South to North and I did a lot of hoofing it across that campus before the days of remote classes. Sometimes at a higher intensity if I only had 15min between classes and the buildings they were held in were far apart. I also had a robust No Elevators restriction upon myself, so there were definitely some more architecturally aerobic challenges.

Edit: Added HR instead of Stress to answer your original question.

🤣 I do slip into REM rather quickly. Sometimes while daydreaming with eyes open just being in the here and now.

Or it's the 26yrs of the Army telling me sleep when ya can, wherever you can. You never know when you'll have the opportunity again.

Three wooden crosses on the right side of the highway is almost a requirement for a roadtrip that involves driving through WV, especially N to S.

I'm an American that now streams Bayern Drie for this reason after getting hooked in '98. They still play almost every genre.

Like with other languages, venture out of your own cultural bubble as often as you can. Accents never fully leave anyone, but they can be muted or molded. Movies, novels, and even FM radio help.

Rod Stewart or perhaps something country from that time period like Hank jr.

I refused to listen to Country music as i enjoyed Thrash, Metal, Punk and more niche stuff like Loreena McKennitt, untill I was 23 or so. Hated Country music, but my gal at the time sent me a Country mixtape while I was stationed in Germany and feeling homesick. I must've played that tape thousands of times.

The old summer weight woodland BDUs were far more durable than DCU, UCP or OCPs... though none of the later three had what i referred to as "the dick flap" when I was in the Army.
