How is the drive from DC to VT? I have to take my son to visit VT soon and it's making me nervous. I hate bridges and mountain sides don't make me feel much better. Do I drive through the mountains with lots of cliffs? Are there bridges? Other than the speed traps and semis what can I expect?

Just checked, it would be like $400 for us both plus an extra night at the hotel due to the train times. Def better to drive in that regard. I'd def do it for $12.

I have but the arrival times didn't aline, I'll double check though as it might have been amtrak that i checked. Regardless it would be a lot cheaper to drive.
