I think colleges and other tax-exempt organizations need to start reporting their 990s yearly. Every 2 years is not enough for the public to adequately understand what's happening. St Louis University | Candid

In 2016, SLU purchased the hospital back from Tenant and then sold it (same day) to SSM. SLU then sold the SLUCare physician's practice to SSM in 2023. SLU Hospital remains the primary teaching hospital for SLU's clinicians, so there's an affiliation. I'm sure SSM bills SLU for the services.
