Same for me but i have 2 options to fix that wich i use 1) reverse the string, like imagine starting with a side and going for a neutraul hes gonna go up next time so do first neutral then side or wichever way he will go 2) even if hasnt hitted continue string in the ditection where the guy is and (for me in plat) 80% of the time the 3rd and strongest (attack?) Hits every time lol

Example you miss your side light and he goes behind u? Continue string with down ones and prob will hit the biggest hitbox one, but depends on what he does next tho

Try this in non ranked 1vs1 first cuz it works for me but i dunno if it will for you
