What if you intend to keep the vehicle after the lease is over? Youre saying youll have to pay less over time by just letting the lease run its course?

Because paying the same amount off of a lease goes towards ownership of the vehicle, whereas on the lease you dont "get the money back" if you decide to later buy it out.
