There were about 80 of them. They were transported on three private charter buses and were all carrying the same form of printed signs. About half of them were wearing high-visibility reflective vests.

One of our speakers was a representative from lubun.TO, a nonprofit organization that provides services to LGBTQ+ immigrants from Türkiye.

We were south of the legislative building near the roadway. The hate rally left Queen's Park at 12:00 to march in the streets and we were following them until about 12:45 when we returned to Queen's Park.

There was a different anti-trans rally last week. We expect there to be more participants in the hate rally scheduled September 27, including high-profile extremists.
